We welcome inquiries about this wonderful breed, it is critical to take some time to learn about frenchies before you add one to your family.
This is also not a breed to try to get a "good deal" on. Do your homework and buy the best quality dog that you can afford. Only buy from a reputable breeder who health tests and guarantees the health of their puppies. A good breeder will be there for you for your dog's lifetime, frenchies can be a challenge to raise and the advice and support of your breeder is invaluable.
We also urge you to reject fad colored frenchies. There are colors such as blue, chocolate, black and tan and others that are disqualified colors by the French Bulldog Breed Standard. Although the AKC does register these colors, they are not acceptable. Fad colored frenchies are a sales gimmick. Those who breed them will tell you that they are exotic and worth more money and of course they charge a lot of money for their colored puppies. The health and quality of colored puppies is often terrible. A puppy should never be priced according to it's fur color, NEVER! Puppies should be priced according to their quality and heritage. Selling puppies according to their fur color is dishonest and unethical, don't be fooled by a slick sales pitch!
A favorite passtime for frenchies-STICK WARS!
